Medical needle tip silicone oil (SILIT-102) contains reactive groups and is mainly used for scalpel, injection needle, infusion needle, blood collection needle, acupuncture needle and other edge and tip silicification treatment.
Product Properties
1. Good lubricating properties for needle tips and edges.
2. Very strong adhesion to metal surfaces.
3. Contains chemically active groups, which will solidify under the action of air and moisture, thus forming a permanent siliconized film.
4. Produced according to GMP standard, the production process adopts advanced de-heating source process.
Instructions for Use
1. Dilute the syringe with solvent to 1-2% dilution (recommended ratio is 1:60-70), immerse the syringe in the dilution, and then blow off the residual liquid inside the needle tip with high pressure airflow.
2. If the manufacturer's production process is the spray method, it is recommended to dilute the silicone oil to 8-12%.
3. To achieve the best use effect, it is recommended to use our medical solvent SILIT-302.
4. Each manufacturer should determine the applicable ratio after debugging according to their own production process, product specifications and equipment.
5. The best silicification conditions: temperature 25℃, relative humidity 50-10%, time: ≥ 24 hours. Stored at room temperature for 7-10 days, the sliding performance will keep improving.
Caution
Medical needle tip silicone oil (SILIT-102) is a reactive polymer, moisture in the air or aqueous solvents will increase the viscosity of the polymer and eventually lead to polymer gelation. The diluent should be prepared for immediate use. If the surface appears to be cloudy with gel after a period of use, it should be reformulated

Shelf life
Stored at room temperature, protected from light and ventilation, when the barrel is completely sealed, its use is valid for 18 months from the production date. 18 months from the date of production. Once the barrel has been opened, it should be used as soon as possible and should not exceed 30 days at the longest.
